Accent Chair

This was my first time attempting a chair. I will admit I was a little nervous as I never reupholstered a chair before. I didn't thinking was something in my realm. Boy was I wrong!

I painted them in Annie Sloan Paris Grey, accented the beautiful carving details in silver gilding wax and sealed with AS wax. 

Recovered the seats with a pretty teal chevron fabric (picked by my client). 

Adding the fabric was super easy!  Just measure, fold like a present and staple to the back. Vola!  

Don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. I found some great videos on YouTube to help with reupholstering. Go for it!!
