I did a light sand before painting them with General Finishes Lamp Black Milk paint. I can't say enough about their paint. It truly goes on like butter and has such a smooth finish.
I painted over the original hardware and lightly distressed.
I then sealed them with General Finishes High Performance Top Coat.
A completely fresh, new look! 😄
